Harlem, NY (BlackNews.com) -- Give A Book in Your Name delivers a free book to a child in your name at the 2015 Harlem Book Fair on July 18, 2015 in New York City. Their goal is 5,000 donated books.

Nurturing reading in a child is integral to ensuring their successful future. Give A Book in Your Name shares your moment and its impact by promoting positive experiences in reading. A new book, given to a child, becomes a small gift that can impact a lifetime.
A social media promotional campaign will promote the launch of the program that culminates at the Harlem Book Fair on July 18. Give A Book in Your Name places your name within a book donated to a child at the book fair. The program is ongoing throughout the year, throughout the Harlem community, churches, and school-based partners. By utilizing social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn) and crowd-funding site GoFundMe (gofundme.com) we will acknowledge your giving.
In sponsorship with First Book (firstbook.org), the nonprofit social enterprise that distributes tens of millions of new books and educational resources every year to educators and program leaders serving children in need nationwide as our book provider, givers and the Harlem Book Fair will help inspire our future generation.

The presentation of the QBR Wheatley Book Awards will open the Harlem Book Fair on the evening of July 17th. The program blends awards presentations into an entertaining evening of music, letters, and stellar performances. The Wheatley Awards are open to industry professionals, independent authors and publishers, media, readers and the general public.
